Villa Fontaine is a hotel chain in Japan, and this one in Shiodome ranks high among all. This morning we ate our breakfast by the window. The breakfast was hybrid style, Japanese and Western. It was better than what we had at Toyoko Inn, and of course the room rate at Toyoko was cheaper.

After breakfast, we walked to the Tsukiji Market (築地市場). If you like seafood, chances are that you'll enjoy yourself very much walking along the narrow streets with stores and stands offering a wide variety of seafood, all for reasonable prices.

To take advantage of the two-day pass of Tokyo Metro, we took the subway at Tsukiji Station to Ginza via the Nibiya Line. There is a Bible Museum at Ginza, or maybe Bible Library is more appropriate. You could see the first Japanese translation of the Bible, Gospel of John, translated into Japanese by Karl Gützlaff, a German working for a Dutch missionary. Others in exhibition include the King James version, the German version by Martin Luther, and the Torah parchment.

We then took the subway to Mitsukoshimae via Ginza Line, and visited Nihombashi. This is the place where the Kilometer Zero of Japan is located. There is a half replica of an ancient version of this bridge at Edo-Tokyo Musuem.

We then walked to the Bank of Japan, and then the Currency Museum.

Then we go back to Ginza again where we took Marunouchi Line to Nishi-shinjuku and walked to the Tokyo City Hall. The night view was disappointing. Then we went back to Nishi-shinjuku Station, and took Marunouchi Line to Ginza Station again, where we transferred to Ginza Line and the Shimbashi is only a stop away.
之後我們回到銀座，然後搭丸之內線道西新宿，走一段路到東京都廳。那邊的夜景令人失望，同一樓層竟然有販賣部，燈光造成玻璃的反射，完全無法拍照。所以我們就隨便看看，回西新宿站，再搭丸之內線回到銀座車站，轉銀座線到新橋站，只有一站的距離。
